Fondue party

As a child, I have good memories of sitting around a fondue pot with steak and some wonderful homemade sauce that Mom made that resembled Thousand Island dressing.

Mom decided to have a fondue party, and invited us to participate. What a great idea! Mom went all out with several kinds of meat - chicken, pork, and steak.  She also made several different kinds of sauces and salad and other things. She was in the kitchen all day long preparing for us, and we cooked our own food at the table! Thank you Mom for all you do for us! We love you and appreciate it!

Triplets 3rd birthday

Zack, Kyle, and Tyler

Our favorite triplets in the whole wide world turned 3 years old this month. They have grown in all the normal ways and are such a joy to watch with their unique ways about each of them.

Kellie and Jason had a family party to celebrate the boys and everyone always looks forward to catching up with family that we don't get to see too often.

The boys love Jennifer, and that is good...because she loves them too!

Encore awards

Jennifer was invited to attend the red carpet event known as the Encore awards for Elm Street Arts.  This was her first time so we didn't really know what to expect.  It was a fun night and they really did have a red carpet out and everyone was so dressed up and looked beautiful.  Jennifer and the other Mermaid sisters actually performed during the ceremony as well.  And while Jennifer did not actually achieve any awards for the year, she now knows what her new goal is......

Mountasia fun

Justin wasn't able to attend Mason's birthday party this year, so we took him for a day of fun at Mountasia.

The boys had a great time playing games and putt-putt and riding go-carts.

Dale's birthday

For Dale's birthday, we took him to Fuji hana where we surprised him by being joined by Mom and Bill and Brian and Deena.
Notice the egg flying through the air headed toward her open mouth

More egg heading her way!

We all know that Bill's mouth is bigger than that! :)

We ended up sitting across from the Nestlehutts as they were all celebrating a family birthday as well.

The kids had made a treasure hunt for Dale to find his gifts. They have always LOVED that game!
  Happy Birthday Dad!!

Back to School

As always, the summer ended way too quickly! We fill our days with fun stuff and the time just flies and school is here before we know what happened.

This year, Jennifer will be in 10th grade and Justin will be in 7th grade.

Both kids are super students and we
 expect another great year!

Justin is in all advanced classes this year, as well as Jennifer.  Jennifer's schedule didn't allow for her to take Adv Math 2 so she had to choose between doing it online or dropping down to regular level Math. That wasn't really an option for her, so she chose to do Math online as well as Spanish 3 online and AP World History (which will be her first AP class!).  She will have a really challenging year with these 3 online classes in addition to her normal school classes.
