Justin’s 12th birthday

God blessed us with a sweet little baby boy 12 years ago, and our life has never been the same.  This year to celebrate his birthday, he wanted a soccer party.  So, we held his party at the park where we play soccer and he invited his friends for pizza, cake, and soccer.

Happy Birthday and breakfast in bed (his favorite - cereal!!)That evening, we had cookie cake and ice cream for dessert.

It rained really hard the day of his party, and we couldn’t decide whether to have it and/or if the park was closed. So, I waited until the last minute to get his cake and almost didn’t get a soccer cake –I had NO IDEA it would be so hard to find a soccer cake. After going to Publix, Walmart, Costco, I finally hit the jackpot at Kroger who fixed this for us. Dad and Sarah watched as the boys played soccer then we came to the pavilion for gifts and cake.After a while, they were kicked off the fields and ended up playing in the parking lot. No worries though, they still had a great time. And that is what its all about. We love you Justin!! Happy Birthday!!

Wicked

Mom, Jennifer and I were SO excited to get to go see Wicked at the Fox. We picked Jennifer up after school and headed to dinner and to the show. We enjoyed every minute and the show was FANTASTIC!!

Alyse and Justin’s wedding

We had a wonderful time celebrating the union of my niece and her new husband at the Strand Theater. What a neat place for a wedding!!
The decorations were simple but elegant. They had a huge bridal party. The wedding took place in the theatre and the reception was upstairs.


Michelle(her cousin) was supposed to be Alyse's matron of honor but was due to deliver Tyler on the wedding date.  Fortunately, he came a few days early and made the trek from VA to GA at 4 days old.  This was a surprise for Alyse!!

Ansley and Noah (ring bearer and flower girl) just stole the show!! They were SOO cute to watch dancing together and apart and entertaining all!!

When the wedding was over, we went to the Marietta square and took a couple of pics.
