For Labor Day weekend this year, we decided to go “camping” with the Koehlers again. This time, we decided to try a “sleeper cabin” where we wouldn’t have to pitch a tent but slept inside a little house that had 4 beds and a refrigerator and electricity and air conditioning. We had 2 houses right next to each other and the campground had a Dollar General right across the street. The first night we were there, the men and kids walked over for some chocolate. It was really hot so we didn’t even have a fire at night. Boy, were we glad we got the cabins as it was hot in the beginning and it rained all night the last night we were there. We would have been miserable in a tent!!
On Saturday, we went into Chattanooga and walked around downtown and had dinner down there. We found this really cool waterfall area where the kids were able to play, and then went to dinner at a Mexican restaurant.
We also went to Rock City and Ruby Falls one day. The kids had been before, but really didn’t remember going, so we did it again. Hopefully, they will remember this time!!

I know Brandon looks miserable in most of these pictures, but he just won't smile for the camera. So, I have given up and just go ahead and take pics of him looking miserable (when he really isn't ) and hope that he will outgrow this stage.
Rock City was really fun. But, the crowds were AWFUL at Ruby Falls. It took us like 3-4 hours to do the tour. The girls were freezing when we finally got there, and just wanted to get out where it was warmer.
