Double rainbow

I went outside for something and looked up and there was a beautiful double rainbow where you could actually see both sides going down to the ground. I ran in to get my camera and when I came out, you could really only see one. But here it is....

I called everyone else out to see it and Justin threw his soccer ball so high...it went over the rainbow! :)

Homecoming Dance

Jennifer went to her home school’s homecoming dance with her friend Marisa this year.  She wasn’t able to go to her school’s dance so this worked.

She went shopping with Jordan and Mrs. Dana since she didn’t have much time to shop once we made the decision. She found a great dress at a great price. She is a savvy shopper like her Mama! It really is hard to find a dress that isn’t inappropriate these days.

They had fun but they weren’t really happy about the music that was played (mostly rap) and Jennifer didn’t know as many people as she expected that she would.

Elephant ears

Most of you know that I do not have a green thumb....at all!!  My Mom and Dad are both very talented in gardening and flowers and yard stuff, but unfortunately I didn't get any of those genes.

With that being said, I was SO super pleased with my elephant ears this year. They were HUGE!!! And they lasted a super long time too!!

Fondue party

As a child, I have good memories of sitting around a fondue pot with steak and some wonderful homemade sauce that Mom made that resembled Thousand Island dressing.

Mom decided to have a fondue party, and invited us to participate. What a great idea! Mom went all out with several kinds of meat - chicken, pork, and steak.  She also made several different kinds of sauces and salad and other things. She was in the kitchen all day long preparing for us, and we cooked our own food at the table! Thank you Mom for all you do for us! We love you and appreciate it!

Triplets 3rd birthday

Zack, Kyle, and Tyler

Our favorite triplets in the whole wide world turned 3 years old this month. They have grown in all the normal ways and are such a joy to watch with their unique ways about each of them.

Kellie and Jason had a family party to celebrate the boys and everyone always looks forward to catching up with family that we don't get to see too often.

The boys love Jennifer, and that is good...because she loves them too!

Encore awards

Jennifer was invited to attend the red carpet event known as the Encore awards for Elm Street Arts.  This was her first time so we didn't really know what to expect.  It was a fun night and they really did have a red carpet out and everyone was so dressed up and looked beautiful.  Jennifer and the other Mermaid sisters actually performed during the ceremony as well.  And while Jennifer did not actually achieve any awards for the year, she now knows what her new goal is......

Mountasia fun

Justin wasn't able to attend Mason's birthday party this year, so we took him for a day of fun at Mountasia.

The boys had a great time playing games and putt-putt and riding go-carts.
