Both kids participated in a soccer tournament last weekend to finish their Spring Soccer season. It was an exciting and fun time with 8 games in 2 very hot days.
Both teams did excellent and ended up placing in the top two - Justin's team won first place and Jennifer's team won second place, losing one by one point. But, both teams did awesome and both of our kids played hard. Jennifer was goalie for most of the games, which puts a lot of pressure on her, but she loves it.
Below is a slide show I made for Justin's team and I am hoping to get Jennifer to make one for her team.
Justin had an awesome coach this year. He taught the boys soccer skills but also life skills. He would send emails each week on what each boy needed to work on that week.
Jennifer had the same coach she has had along with a new coach. They were a great team together.
