My newest adventure!

A couple of weeks ago, a friend on Facebook posted the following ad:

Instantly, I thought it sounded like a wonderful program. I went to the website and checked it out and decided I really wanted to participate in this.  I went to observe for a few hours last week and then went to training on Monday, and today, I had my first lessons.  The first hour we groom and tack all the horses that we need for that day's lessons.  We have 4 main horses that we use for the therapeutic riding program.  I have groomed Pancake both times so far, but we also have Max and Mystic and Maverick.  They are beautiful horses! The kids are awesome as well. They are different ages and sizes and have all different kinds of disabilities but they are all precious and learning each time.  The smiles on their faces and their laughs make it all worthwhile.  I hope this is something that I can continue for quite a while. And I have 4 other friends that are interested and going to training soon to help out as well.
