For the last few years, Mom has taken over the responsibility of leading the single moms at our church. This is a HUGE job and she has grown it into a thriving ministry. When she took the job, it wasn't really doing a whole lot for anyone, but in the time since she has taken it, she has grown the ladies in numbers and drawn them closer together to each other and to the Lord. They love her very much and she loves them as well. So, this April..they decided to show their appreciation for her with a surprise luncheon in her honor. They worked very hard to surprise her, and it worked. They had delicious food and our friend Elizabeth the photographer brought her props and camera. Here are some pics from the fun day.
