Mom and I have been to the Beloved retreat every year since it started, but this year we had Jennifer join us for the first time. We picked her up at school and headed straight for our girls weekend. We had a blast hanging out with each other and with the Beloved team.
Jennifer and I got a makeover- Kim did mine and Denise did Jennifer. It is always a pleasure to get the makeover because you get one-on-one attention.
We also had Angela and Sommer join us for the first time. They had an awesome time taking a break from the grind of life to soak in some of God's love and his word.
Another highlight of the weekend is that we get to see Michelle and Tim and their kids. Ansley loves Jennifer so she would stay with her while we were in our sessions and dance with her and laugh with her.... Tyler had grown so much since we saw him last.
Jennifer tried something for the first time....threading....and she said it hurt really bad. She did not enjoy it one bit but at least she tried and now she knows...
For our break time, we all went to the mall and had lunch at the food court and did a little shopping.
They also had the photo booth back where we all had some fun having our pics made. And we got lots of nice goodies-one of my favorites was a white blingy watch.
