While Dale and I enjoyed our time out West, the kids and my Mom enjoyed some play time and some work time.It started snowing the day after we left and accumulated a little bit, so the kids were out of school on Friday. It was REALLY cold the whole time we were gone, with temps in the teens and twenties. So, for the most part the kids stayed inside. But there was some play time in the snow.
A few days later, our neighbor actually hosed down the side of his yard so that it would freeze so that the kids could sled down it. The kids had a blast sledding down different ways.
But Mom & Jennifer also worked very hard while we were gone. Jennifer had gotten a new comforter set for Christmas and wanted to redo her room. They spent hours pulling down the border that we had in her room before. Then they painted the room blue. Here are some pictures of them in the room after they had finished. It turned out really pretty and she LOVES her new room!
