Fourth of July 2011

After spending Saturday at the zoo with friends, we spent Saturday night over at the Hills. We just hung out and played the Wii and talked but had a good time catching up with each other.

After church, we ended up going to the lake to spend the evening with Dad and Sarah. Brian and Deena showed up as well. Donnie and Cathy were there too, but left about the time we got there, so we missed out on their company this time.

We all got in Dad's boat to go see the fireworks on the lake.  It is SOO pretty to see all the boats lined up (like in a parking lot on the water) and the fireworks over the lake.

Right before the fireworks started, it started lightning. So, this picture showed manmade fireworks and God fireworks as well.  It never rained on us though.
Then we went back the next morning (the Fourth of July) to spend the day playing with our new tube.

Dad always works so hard to get this huge flag hung on July 4th

We had a great day at the lake as usual.

We left early to take the waverunner home and meet the Hills for fireworks in Woodstock. But it started raining after we got home, and Woodstock cancelled the fireworks until the next night. So, we got to add another day of fun. We met the Hills and watched fireworks with them.  They did a great job and the best part is we have found THE PLACE to park.  When fireworks are done, and the traffic is awful.....we are home within 6 minutes of them ending.  That is a great way to end the weekend fun!!
