North GA trip

We took a trip to North GA to see the beautiful Fall colors.  We drove around a lot starting with having a picnic on the side of 575 of Zaxbys at a lookout area.  Then we drove up to Vogel State Park and walked to the waterfall.  Jake went with us and had a great time walking the trails.  We stopped at a fun area with a fudge shop and had a great dinner on the river on the way home.  IMAG0040IMAG0041

Justin, Jennifer, and Dale walked down in the waterfall. And Jake wanted to go down there with them so badly.IMG_2222IMG_2224

They were having a big festival with square dancing at Vogel when we got there. The kids didn’t want to join in the fun.

There were lots of dogs there so we had to use the Gentle Leader for a little bit.IMG_2229IMG_2241

Jennifer was trying to get a mid-air picture.IMG_2248IMG_2250IMG_2253IMG_2256

Jennifer climbed up on this log and looked in and YELLED and JUMPED when she saw a snake. We all thought it was so funny!IMG_2259IMG_2262IMG_2263IMG_2266IMG_2268IMG_2270

Loved the shadow picture!!IMG_2271IMG_2274

This was the fun place we stopped at. The kids had a blast walking around seeing everything and playing.IMG_2313IMG_2314

I love the fact that the kids can still have fun despite being a teen and pre-teen. IMG_2316IMG_2318IMG_2320IMG_2321

They had lots of swings and we each picked our favorite.IMG_2323IMG_2325

Jake wasn’t bothered by that bear at all. Smile
