Jennifer made the news!

Jennifer is (by far) the one in our family that most wants to be on TV. I have been on the news a couple of times and Justin has been on the news once(and mentioned his sister but gave the wrong age!! She was 13 and he said she was 12-she was NOT happy about that!! ) but Jennifer had never been interviewed. 

Well, her time finally came. The theater where she is performing "The Little Mermaid" was going to be hosting the 11-Alive news team from 4:30-7:00 am recently.  They asked her to come, and be in costume.  Since her Mom loves her SOOO much, I got up at 3:45 in the MORNING to take her and just hung out watching all the entertainment.  I had to wake her up twice to get her going at that time and she never even remembered the first time. 

When we got there, there was quite a crowd there and they were already going strong. The MAIN entertainment was a group of cloggers/tappers of all ages and they were really good and very entertaining to watch. A bunch of the businesses from downtown were there as well.

 So, this is by far not the best picture of Ariel (Princess Pearl) but I thought it was a good one of Princess Amethyst (Jennifer) waiting to be interviewed.

This is during the actual interview. We DVR'd it so we could watch it later and so that the boys who were sleeping soundly could see it later too.

It was a lot of fun for both of us, and Jennifer said she could check being on TV off her bucket list.  But she promised that it wouldn't be the last time she was on TV.
