end of school

Justin's class had a party at the end of school where the teachers gave out some really cute awards along with some candy to each of the children.  There was the snickers award(to a girl who snickers a lot), the milky way award to Justin's friend who is always "off in space", the Sweetheart award for a sweet heart, the Dove award for a peacemaker, the Reece's award for the 2 people who are always together, etc.  They had a unique award for each child and the kids were able to guess most of them, so it was obvious that a lot of thought went into these awards.  Well, guess what Justin got??  The teacher stated that this award was not negative like it might sound.....

but he got the ZERO award...

For wasting zero time and always getting down to work!

He was quite proud but really wanted some of the other candy as he had never had a zero bar in his life.  But the kids all had a great time and I am really proud of my "ZERO"....

and glad the teacher was able to put a positive spin to it.  :)

We had an awesome year in the 4th and 7th grades.  Both kids got all A's and E's all year with the exception of one B the first quarter.  They also both did awesome on the CRCT test scores.  I couldn't be any prouder of both of my kids and thank God that they are smart kids who work hard to do what they are supposed to do.  Way to go Jennifer and Justin!!
