Larry

Dale’s cousin Larry passed away in mid-March.  We were shocked to hear about his passing as it was totally unexpected.
He lived in Arizona, and once they had the autopsy and cremation and his remains returned to Georgia, where he had been trying to get home for 20 years. Aunt Ruby decided to hold his memorial on what would have been his 52nd birthday to celebrate his life.
It was a really nice place next to a beautiful creek. Uncle David did the service and did a great job.  His son David poured his ashes into the creek, and we all enjoyed a potluck dinner with family.
His death really has affected me as I had already begun to think about what kind of things he was going to experience when he came home this August – and now he never will.
But I do know that he is experiencing a lot better things in Heaven, and his pains and fears and sickness and trials are all worth it to end up where he did.  He had a tough life, but God used him where he was in a mighty way and he would tell you it was all worthwhile.
This was a beautiful cake that was done in his honor to commemorate his life.
We look forward to seeing you again one day Larry!!
