Spring soccer-Forza Roma

This spring, Justin played soccer but Jennifer did not. She was too busy with her school and drama activities.
Justin was on the same time as last season with the same great coach. They were undefeated again this season, but this time they did tie one game.  This group of boys is really talented and seems to get along really well.
We played in 2 tournaments this time.  The first one was in Conyers, where we didn’t win but we were the best team out there(as told by the refs). The team that beat us had a huge strong boy that looked like a young MAN with big muscles that played like a man among boys.  EVERYONE questioned his age, and we really never found out if he was 14 or older, but without him, it wouldn’t have been a match.
The second tournament was at JJ Biello park.  The first day we won both games. The next day we had a ton of bad weather  (storms and rain with flood watches), and we weren’t able to get the games in. The first game the other team forfeited and after much confusion, we ended up doing the final game for the tournament win with penalty kicks.  What an awful way to end it, but it was the only way.  Thankfully, we won as we should have.
It was a rough season weather wise. We missed a lot of practices due to the rain, It snowed during our first game and flooded during our last game, but it was still a great season with old friends and new friends.
His coach does a GREAT job of making each boy a special certificate with the team picture, and praising each boy individually at the end in front of the team and the parents.
Justin stated that this was his favorite team of boys ever and was very sad to see the season end.
