How to Eat like a Child

Last week we had our final CFT play for the year. It was an "in-house" production, even though they performed at Marietta Church of God. They performed a play called "How to eat like a child" in which there were a lot of mini-lessons on how to do things like a child. Each child played themselves, which was unusual. They were able to pick their own costumes and did their own hair and makeup(if any).

Jennifer was in several scenes and had more talking and speaking parts this time. Justin had one scene where he was the only one on stage until the very end, and he was singing the whole time. He was in other scenes as well too. They both did an awesome job. I was REALLY nervous for Justin as he had to play the violin and then pretend to be a rock star, which is totally out of character for him and he wasn't putting too much emotion into it during practice. But he shined once he got on stage and several people said that his scene was their favorite.

We only got a limited number of tickets since there was only one production. But MiMi and PaPa and Nana got to come to see the show.

The whole play took place on a playset they set up on stage.

Justin with his friend Luke.

Jennifer with her friends.

We enjoyed another year of these kids learning to use their drama skills to glorify God through theatre.
