Christmas with the Seelhammers 2010

We always get together with our friends at Christmas time and do something special. This year, we decided to meet at a pizza place (which ended up being a take out place in a gas station so we didnt' go there!) and then heading over to Lake Lanier for their lights.  We ended up going to Cracker Barrell where the kids and adults had a blast looking through the store. We then all piled in our van to head over to Lake Lanier. I had put a bunch of pillows and blankets in the back of the van so the kids would be comfy back there while all the adults had their seats.

As it always does, it was super crowded the Sunday night that we went and it took FOREVER to go through the lights.  We were going so slow that the kids would lay down in between and we would have to tell them to get up and look at the lights.  It gave the adults plenty of time to catch up, but the kids were quite bored with the whole thing. They ended up just playing video games in the back and looking at the lights here and there.

Then we got out and roasted marshmallows and got hot chocolate for everyone.  And then went to the fair next door. Whoever thought to put a fair out in the coldest part of the year has no brains. But we let the kids all pick ONE ride/attraction each.  Our older kids picked the fun house to go through.

We always enjoy our time together. Anna loves Jennifer and she is so good with the kids.

And this is the only picture that Angela and I got this time-oh well maybe next year!!
