We had the honor of working with Angel Eyes Photography this fall for our Fall pictures. I thought they turned out really well.
Everyone keeps asking about the couch. Yes, this is her actual couch from her living room that she dragged out to her backyard for the photo shoot. And the funny thing is that the colorful limbs in the background are actually artificial flowers stuck in the tree. But you can't tell the difference.
The interesting thing about Jessica (the photographer) is that she does photography for Now I lay me Down to Sleep, which is an organization that sends photographers out when a couple finds out that the baby is not going to live very long, or is dead at birth. It is a very tough job emotionally for the photographer but she sees it as a ministry. If you need a good cry, head to their website where you can see tons of these precious babies' pictures. Even the ones that are born very very early are still so developed, it is amazing. The website is http://www.nilmdts.com/ It is a wonderful service that they do.
And Heritage Makers has partnered with NOW I LAY ME DOWN TO SLEEP to give each of these families a storybook for free which they will treasure always. I got the privelidge of working with Jessica on a book for one of these families. I wished I could show you the book on here. It turned out beautiful!! The family doesn't speak much English so I translated everything into Spanish. The little girl was absolutely beautiful but had a heart defect. We worked really hard to get the book to them before she passed away, and I pray that we did. I tried to put bible verses in the book that I felt would comfort the family when they no longer have her to hug and kiss. I pray that God uses that book in a mighty way!
