Anne of Green Gables

We made it!! All 3 performances of Anne of Green Gables went extremely well to 3 sold out shows. The kids always have a blast getting to bond with the other kids during the MANY hours they spend on stage and back stage during a performance. The cast and crew (and my kids, of course!) did an awesome job. We are all exhausted and have one last cast and crew party tonight, but are hoping to catch up on some sleep this week.
Jennifer played Aunt Josephine (an elderly rich lady). She came on the stage the first time during the opening act and her own Mimi didn't even recognize her. When Dale pointed her out, Mom started laughing so hard she couldn't stop. As you can see, she looked the old lady part. My Mom told her she will make a pretty old lady one day. She was quick to remind Mimi that at least her wrinkles were makeup and could be wiped off. She aced her acts and did an awesome job on her character and her trio.
Justin played Moody (one of the school boys). He really stepped up this year and did a great job on his lines and his solo.
The whole troupe just did a great job. We can't wait to see Sound of Music in April which will be performed by the Omega troupe (the older kids). Our alpha troupe will be doing another play in April as well, which we will find out soon what that will be.
Way to go kiddos!
