It seems like every time we made plans, someone got sick. We had plans with 2 different families and both had to cancel because someone was sick. So we ended up going over to Mom and Bill's house and had a good time with them watching the Super Bowl(well, at least Dale and Bill did!). Mom watched some of the halftime show and I watched none, just enjoyed the company. Jake went over to their house for the first time and I was shocked that their cat, Buffy actually came out and stayed. She watched him closely the whole time we were there. Normally, she never even comes out or makes a brief appearance. Jake did pretty good at his Mimi and Papa's house though, so maybe they will invite him back sometime. Bill has started working on some bowls that he used to make years ago and just got back into it. They are really pretty and unique one-of-a-kind gifts. He does a great job on them and can tell you about each little piece of wood.
