A Hollywood STAR is born

We found out while we were on the cruise that Jennifer was chosen for the lead role in her drama group's Christmas play, Christmas in Comfort. This was by far the most exciting news we could have gotten!! This was a real shocker, since she moved up this year from the Alpha to the Omega group which consists of 13-18 year olds. She is only 12 but due to various reasons, she was moved up early. But I would have never guessed that she would have been picked for the LEAD role.

We are SOO excited for her. And she is SOOO excited as well. She has already memorized 4 out of 7 scenes. She is doing great. And they picked a natural for her part. She plays the character of Mona Malone, which is a Hollywood star, who learns the real meaning of Christmas through having to do community service for running over her ex-ex husband with the car. She has the attitude down and will have fun with this one.

If you would like to see it, save the date for Dec 5. There are 2 performances that day. Just let me know if you are interested and I will be glad to share details as they draw near. It will be here before we know it!!
