Washing machine troubles

The week before Christmas, we started having a leak from the bottom of our washing machine. Now, we have had this washing machine for almost 18 years and have had no problems with it. We really didn't want to have to buy a new one, so Dale called his Dad and then called my Uncle Bennie who used to have an appliance repair business. He walked him through it and Dale took the washing machine apart (which was very interesting to see it without its shell). He went and got the new part that we needed and replaced it and it is working great. YEAH DALE!! By the way, this is not a picture of OUR washing machine, but it looked similar at one point. The picture I took had Dale's butt as the focus, so I decided to be nice and not post it. I am so proud of him for fixing that washing machine. That is not something he is familiar with, but he is willing to tackle our friend's washing machine woes now!!
