Weekend recap

Well, crunch is definitely here for us. For those of you not in a "drama" world, crunch is the 2 weeks before a production where the kids are at the theatre every day(Except Sunday) for those 2 weeks. I kind of dread it, but the kids think it is the best part of drama-crunch! So, they fall out of everything else for a couple weeks, but all our time is spent preparing for their play. The kids are in Anne of Green Gables this year. Friday night, I was the green room parent and prepared dinner for 21 people with another mom. This is my chance to be behind the scenes and help out where needed-and fix my kids(and others) a hot meal!!
Saturday, it was back to the theatre, where I had some time to go shopping and go to a Puppy training class before I picked them up, rushed them out of their costumes and made it to the movie "Hotel for dogs". It was really cute! Dale spent most of the day at the ballpark grading boys on their baseball skills tests. Then we picked Dale up, and headed to my brother and sister in law's work where they did some friends a big favor by taking some product pictures for them. We finished the day by going out to dinner as a family.
After church Sunday, we went to lunch with some friends and family and then switched kids up, one family taking the girls and we got the boys. They had a great time playing together. Sunday evening, I had the opportunity to go see Beth Moore( LOVE HER!!) and Travis Cottrell as he recorded a new CD at First Baptist Woodstock. It was an awesome time of praise music and worship!! I sat with several friends, but saw probably 40 people that I knew. It is so neat to go somewhere different and see so many people you know.
